Tuition Grants
Any parent wishing tuition grants must apply each year. Since each school year is fiscally separate, we cannot carry debt or grants over from the previous years.
WRACS has been built on the concept that every parent financially supports the school through tuition payments. In short, every family pays something towards the education of their children in the Catholic schools. Parents who apply for financial assistance must demonstrate need by supporting documentation of Federal 1040 forms. All of these forms and documents are held strictly confidential in the President's office.
Grants and registrations forms are available by clicking the links below, or from the Central Office at 422-0900.
Free and Reduced Hot Lunches
It is important that every parent who believes they might qualify apply, even if they have no intention of accepting free or reduced lunches. The amount of Federal dollars that could be available to the system from the public schools is based on the number of free and reduced qualified applicants we have. We ask your assistance in making sure we have equal and fair access to federally funded programs by applying if you qualify.
Please call 422-0922 with any questions.
Transportation
Busing is available from the local public school district in which the family resides. The student must qualify under the public school rules in order for the service to be provided.
Volunteerism
Volunteerism is vital to the success of our school system. Opportunities for volunteering exist at all grade schools as well as in the middle and high schools. Please offer your time as we cannot exist without the assistance of our parents and community. Click here to see a list of opportunities for volunteering.
Scholarship Funds
It is our philosophy to financially assist, if qualified, all area students who desire a Catholic values-based education.
General Scholarship Fund
Each student receives an automatic scholarship from area parishes, foundations and other third source income. Nine area Catholic parishes contribute over 50% of the actual cost per student in the form of scholarship dollars. For example, for the current school year, these area parishes donated over 1.9 million dollars to help defray the costs of educating our children. Those parishes are:
- St Philip, Rudolph
- Sacred Heart, Nekoosa
- Our Lady Queen of Heaven
- St Lawrence
- St. Vincent
- St James, Vesper
- St Peter & Paul
- Holy Rosary, Sigel
- St Alexander, Port Edwards
Another 23% of the average cost of educating a student comes from advancement income, grants, foundations, and other 3rd source income.
